580 George 30th Anniversary
In 2018, the 580 George community celebrated 30 years of success, reflecting on the rich history of the building and its surroundings.
580 George finished construction in 1988 and the first tenancies were welcomed in the latter months of the year. The building has undergone many changes over the decades with new tenants, thousands of new faces and several renovations and rebrandings to make it the iconic building it is today.
30 years on, 580 George has become more than just a place to work, but a truly diverse ‘vertical’ community. With the Light Rail works finishing and the Metro Station in Pitt Street to follow in 2024, the future for 580 George looks bright.
